The Coolest Projects Sylhet – Pilot Edition 2025/26
A showcase event celebrating creativity, coding, and innovation for young people in Sylhet.
Categories
Participants can submit projects in one of three categories:
- Scratch (Age-friendly, beginner)
- HTML / Web Design (Intermediate)
- Python (Intermediate to advanced)
Goal
Inspire young people to learn coding, think creatively, and share what they build with their community.
Program Structure
Duration: 1 December – 18 January
Format: Training + Mentoring + Project Building
Training: 1–2 hours per week (online or in-person)
Mentors: Volunteers, university students, teachers, ICT club leads
Participants: Students aged approx. 9–18
Target Number: 30–40 students in total
Schools Involved: Encourage schools to register teams to take part
Prizes & Certification: Every student receives a certificate for participating and prizes for top 3 submissions in each category.

Showcase & Award Ceremony (23 January)
Held in-person at TBC in Sylhet.
Structure of the Day (5 hours):

| 10:00 – 12:00 | Project Showcase (Judges walk around and speak to each participant) |
| 12:00 – 12:45 | Break / Light snacks / Community networking |
| 13:00 – 14:00 | Awards Ceremony: Winners announced + Photos |
| 14:00 – 14:30 | Group photo, closing remarks, parents & school acknowledgments |
Attendance:
Each student can bring up to 2 adult guests (parents/guardians/teachers).
